Have you seen this? http://www.theypouredfire.com/
From the website:
They Poured Fire on Us From the Sky is a true book about Sudan, and a powerful portrait of war, as seen through the eyes of three children: Alephonsion Deng, Benson Deng, and Benjamin .Ajak.
I read the book. The boys, the youngest only 4, walk from the Sudan to Ethiopia, to Kenya, to the Sudan and back again to Ethiopia and from there to Kenya. The book covers approx. ten years of their lives as Sundanese orphans and refugees.
