Information and to sign up for Student Lobby Day on Friday, April 28, 2006.

The Pulitzer Prizes in commentary has (according to the Pulitzer site) been

Awarded to Nicholas D. Kristof of The New York Times for his graphic, deeply reported columns that, at personal risk, focused attention on genocide in Darfur and that gave voice to the voiceless in other parts of the world.

For those with Times Select here is the link to his latest article. The Slaughter Spreads.

US may force UN vote on DarfurIn order to make our President scream this out loud and clear we have to make it known that we will not stand for this any longer. Contact your government officials now. Contact the White House now. There are things even our president can do if he screams loud enough. The rhetoric is  there, our government has proclaimed this to be a genocide yet women are still being raped and children ( babies really) are still being murdered.
