From Executive Producer George Clooney

HBO Documentary Films Presents

Sand and Sorrow

Premiering Tonight at 8 p.m. ET

Ten years after the genocide in Rwanda, another tragic story of inhumanity is unfolding in another African nation. As a bloody byproduct of the ongoing civil war in Sudan, hundreds of thousands of native Sudanese have died, while millions more have been forcibly displaced from their homes and land in the western region of Darfur by their own government. Executive produced and narrated by George Clooney, and directed by Peabody Award winner Paul Freedman, Sand and Sorrow journeys into the heart of the crisis in Darfur. Premieres Thursday, December 6 at 8pm ET/PT.

Thanks for the tip of Sand and Sorrow.

I’ll have to come back another day and really read this blog when I’m a bit more alert than now 🙂

Maybe I even will write a post about it… We’ll see.

I’ll give you some linky love too, but I have to think about where, since I’ve placed my links and blogrolls on separate pages.

    Later…
