Oil and Olympics

16 Apr

According to Market Watch, there is a call from some rebel groups for Western Oil Companies to replace Chinese companies. In an interview with Dow Jones newswire Eltahir Abdam Elfaki, chairman of the legislative council of Justice and Equality movement said “We don’t want China. We want to expel them. We have the means to do so, he added.
“We are preparing new attacks.

In the meantime Dream for Darfur gave the IOC failing grades, pointing out their hypocrisy by citing the
ideals of the “Olympic Truce,” promoted by the IOC, which revived ideals from the ancient Olympics calling for a cessation of hostilities so that athletes and others could travel safely to participate in the games.

Let’s have peace so the athletes can travel safely – please disregard all crimes against humanity occurring in places we’d rather not speak of. Their message is loud and clear.
