Personal Narratives – From Darfur.

14 Jun

The Independent U.K. writes of a former translator, now a novelist, who is returning personal narratives to the people he left behind.

Daoud Hari, a former translator for militia victims, has written a novel in which he gives life, or gives Darfurians back their lives with their personal narratives.

He notes that Darfur is again has gone off the fickle radar of the international community. He hopes to place the radar firmly on Darfur with his book.

Please help him.

Available at Barnes and Noble on pre-order.
Borders may have hardback copies though most are out and not available any longer so check your local bookstore.

I think there are some old hard copies around, though it did burn bridges in sale it’s the paper back copies that are probably going to be released here within the next 1-6 weeks.
It will be available via Barnes and Noble in July but can be pre-ordered there. Some individual Borders may have copies though the ones I checked were out of stock.
