Sorry, but I’m not buying into that liberal guilt. I agree that there should be more media attention, but one of the reasons there isn’t it that it is not p. c. to intelligently discuss precolonial but persisting intertribal violence in Africa and Africa’s own role in the failure of postcolonial nation states. Personally, I cannot sustain “interest” in solving a problem that seems to have no solution and no “right” side, even though it is killing millions. The war against women, on the other hand, has a “right” side. I hope a solution may be found.
